Seniors – Please make sure that your bills are paid up!! If you have a negative balance for lunch or owe any book bills/parking tickets they have to be paid up by May 21st or you will not be walking at graduation. If you have questions on if you owe anything, please see Charlotte in the Administration office.
Graduating seniors and students leaving the district will lose access to all Google services using their @bspapps.org email address; this includes Docs, Sites, Calendar, YouTube, Gmail and other services tied to their @bpsapps.org email address. For instructions on how to download or transfer your data, please go to the library.
Senior Lunch Balances – If you have money in your lunch account you can cash out. Please see Charlotte in the Administration office
Seniors – Diplomas and final transcripts Diplomas and final transcripts will be mailed to your home address that we have on file. If you’ve moved or will move in June, please see Cassie Bauer in the administration office to get your new address.
Elevator Keys – Please see Charlotte or Cassie in the Administration office if you need your key past today. Otherwise, please turn in your elevator keys
Sports physicals completed after April 15th are valid for the 2021-22 seasons. If you are not in a spring sport, now would be a great time to get it out of the way! Sophomores, if you have turned 16, don’t forget you will need your second meningococcal vaccine prior to next fall! If you are getting a sports physical, make sure to ask for it!
Freshman, Sophomores & Juniors: ~ Students are permitted to keep their Chromebook & charger this summer, but can turn it in if they choose.
ATTENTION JUNIORS, CLASS OF 2022! You will be receiving an email with information regarding your mandatory senior meeting to be scheduled with your assigned counselor. We are excited for the opportunity to offer these meetings this summer. We highly encourage a parent to attend but it is not required.
You must check you BPS apps email for instructions on how to schedule your meeting. Be advised that if you are attending summer school you must schedule your meeting after your class. Please see your counselor if you have any questions.
BHS Fundraiser At 3:30am on May 20th a student’s house caught on fire and unfortunately, they experienced a total loss, in each class you will see a coin jar & that jar is dedicated for that student. These jars will be sitting out until next week Wednesday and all donations will be gifted to the family.

BHS acknowledge our honors and awards that our staff and students achieve during the year. We try very hard to catch every achievement. This will help assure that we don’t miss anyone. Honors and Awards are also highlighted in the yearbook.

The Demon Den has received a lot of new inventory including sweatshirts, hats and t-shirts as well as youth t-shirts. They are ready to help you with your Christmas shopping!
BPS Family Assistance Fund
The Bismarck Public Schools Foundation (BPSF) has established a BPS Family Assistance Fund. Those that wish to donate may do so through the foundation website or by mail. To donate online, go to https://www.bpsfoundation.com/donations/bps-faf/. To donate by mail, send checks to the BPS Foundation at 806 N. Washington St., Bismarck, ND 58501 and write “BPS-FAF” in the memo line. Families seeking assistance are encouraged to reach out to their counselor or social worker who will connect them to established community resources as well as submit requests for funding needs that cannot be met within existing resources. The BPSF thanks those who have already reached out to volunteer and/or provide monetary donations to help those within our community who are struggling.

Simle & Wachtersummer school is June 7-July 15, 2021, Monday-Thursday. Horizonsummer school is June 7-July 1, 2021, Monday-Thursday. Horizon Remedial Reading/Math is July 1-14, 2021, Monday-Thursday.
Bismarck High, Century and Legacy High Schoolsummer school is Monday-Friday. Session I: June 7-25 Session II: June 28-July 16
No summer school July 5.
June 28 School Board Meeting
The Bismarck School Board will meet at 5:15 pm at the City-County Building at 221 N. 5th Street. The public is invited to attend the meeting or watch it LIVE on cable channel 2.
