• Would you Rather

    Playing Would you Rather is a fun way to engage your family in speaking and listening practice! Below are a few examples of prompts you could use.  As the games goes on, you're likely to start making up your own.  Be sure to ask your child to explain their thinking!

    • Would you rather be able to slide down rainbows or jump on clouds?
    • Would you rather never have to brush your teeth again, or never have to take a bath or shower again?
    • Would you rather lick the bottom of your shoe or eat your boogers?
    • Would you rather eat a dead bug or a live worm?
    • Would you rather go to the doctor or the dentist?
    • Would you rather brush your teeth with soap or drink sour milk?
    • Would you rather only be able to walk on all fours or only be able to walk sideways like a crab?
    • Would you rather surf in the ocean with a bunch of sharks or surf with a bunch of jellyfish?
    • Would you rather be super strong or super fast?
    • Would you rather be able to stop time or go back in time?
    • Would you rather have a single pair of eyes on the back of your head or one pair of eyes on each side of your head?
    • Would you rather have tiger's stripes or porcupine's needles?
    • Would you rather be Captain America or Iron Man?
    • Would you rather have a life-sized robot or a jetpack?
    • Would you rather be able to talk to animals or read people's minds?
    • Would you rather have to drink everything from your ears or eat everything with your belly button?
